Hello, I’m Mayumi – the founder, maker, and heart behind Abi Kaya Creates™.

This little studio began as a quiet hope: to offer gifts that carry faith, beauty, and meaning in every drop, note, or word. After years in public service and now also serving as a registered migration agent, I began creating as a way to reconnect with what I love – and to share it with others through handmade, heartfelt offerings.

What does “Abi Kaya” mean?
The name of this venture reflects my belief in creating and serving with purpose and joy. Abi is short for Abigail, meaning ‘my father’s joy’ or ‘my father is joy,’ while Kaya (pronounced kah-yah) is a Filipino word meaning ‘can’ – as in ‘I can do it.’ Together, Abi Kaya expresses my conviction that through faith and creativity, joy and possibility can be shared with others.

Everything I create is inspired by my faith and offered in the hope that it blesses others –whether through a comforting scent, an encouraging word, or a moment of calm. I also guide others to create their own perfume stories – merging art, science, and purpose.
